Accordo: EVENTIDE H9 : solo MAX da gennaio 2021

Ricevo oggi questa mail dagli organi di marketing di Eventide, probabilmente nella casella di posta di molti altri utenti di accordo possessori del bellissimo H9:

One H9 To Rule Them All
We are very proud of the H9 family of pedals and all the sonic magic that our users have created with our products. Since its introduction, 10 world-class algorithms have been added to the original complement of forty-two. But, despite our best efforts, the H9 platform is now full and cannot accommodate any additional algorithms.

In addition, due to supply chain disruptions and component shortages exacerbated by the COVID pandemic, we will no longer produce the standard H9 and H9 Core after 2020. At that time, we will retire the algorithm store so it will no longer be possible to purchase individual algorithms for H9s and H9 Cores. We will continue to manufacture and ship the H9 Max with a total of 52 algorithms as of January 1, 2021.
It's Time to Max Out
We are offering a special Max Out Upgrade promotion for H9 and H9 Core owners for the foreseeable future. Visit the H9 Max Out Upgrade Page to easily upgrade your pedal. Any purchased algorithms will count toward the upgrade. If you have already purchased the required number of algorithms, then your Max Out is ready. Please go to H9 Control > Settings > Sync Algorithms on H9 with Server.

As an added bonus, customers who Max Out by December 31, 2020 are eligible to receive the H9 Series Plug-in Bundle for free.

Regardless of this announcement, we will continue to provide support for the H9, H9 Core and H9 Max. Sostanzialmente ci dicono che dal prossimo mese di gennaio non sarà più possibile acquistare singoli algoritmi per chi non ha la versione MAX dell'H9, ma viene data l'ultima opportunità di fare l'upgrade alla versione con tutti gli algoritmi entro la dead line, oltre la quale ci si dovrà accontentare degli algoritmi che si possiede , senza possibilità ulteriore di aggiungerne altri.

E' , a mio modesto parere , un' operazione di maketing abbastanza triste, cui trovo un unico lato positivo: l'upgrade viene offerto ad un prezzo scontato di 200$ cui verranno scontati 20$ per ciascun algoritmo precedentemente acquistato.
